Rob and Nancy DuPont have been in the restaurant industry a combined 50+ years, serving in a variety of capacities. Although this is our first venture in Quick Service food, we also own a successful fine dining restaurant in Mundelein, IL. We felt there was a need for tasty, authentic southern barbeque served with fresh sides and desserts prepared in the restaurant. All of Smokey’s meats are smoked using real hard wood over a low heat for approximately 10 hours. We strive to give a satisfying dining experience whether it be in our small dining area, carry out, or catering.
Smokey’s mission statement is to provide our customers with tasty food choices based on flavor and value, not convenience or price. We will serve our food in a friendly, funky atmosphere. We will ensure that our customers become friends, and our friends visit often. We will also strive to build community relations by being involved with local schools and events.
